Hopefully a useful resource for AS Level English Literature students studying Edward Thomas (selected poems), Charlotte Brontë's Jane Eyre, Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire, P.D. James' Children of Men and Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale
Follow the link in the navigation bar to the A2 level English Literature blog I am beginning to compile and feel free to leave feedback.

To everyone taking the AS English Lit exam...

To everyone taking the AS Level English Literature exam on Friday, good luck!

An introduction...

WELCOME...

As an A Level English Literature student I've come to realise how hard it can be to find online information about the topics studied. For my AS Level course I studied Jane Eyre (Charlotte Brontë), A Streetcar Named Desire (Tennessee Williams), poetry (Edward Thomas), The Handmaid's Tale (Margaret Atwood) and The Children of Men (PD James).
So with the intention of helping those who follow me I decided to set up a blog. The aim of this blog is to provide enough content for AS Level English Literature students who study these topics.
I will set up pages on each text (a single page for Edward Thomas with content on the poems I studied) and these pages will include key quotes, key intentions, how to write a good introduction, example essay questions and what to expect from the exam. As well as this I will give information useful for the course and an overall rundown of what A Level English Literature is all about.
I hope this is useful for those in need, let me know if you have any questions.
